Hideout Cabins is proudly owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Tom and Kate. Our fascination with tiny homes led us to realise that there was a gap in the market for a more upscale, luxurious tiny home experience. We envisioned what our ideal tiny home would include if we were guests, and from that vision, Hideout Cabins was born. Each cabin embodies style, functionality, and luxury, complete with bespoke finishes.  

Construction began in mid-2019, and by March 2020, we launched—only to face the challenges of COVID-19 lockdowns. Despite a difficult start, Hideout Cabins has remained a true passion project. 

Our core values centre around providing guests with an exceptional blend of luxury and style while immersing them in the daily life of a working farm. Visitors enjoy a hotel-like experience in the serene countryside, complete with modern comforts and thoughtful touches.

What truly sets us apart is our 5-star offering and attention to premium details. Guests can enjoy luxury brands like Sheridan towels and robes, In the Sac linen bedding, air conditioning, standard hot water systems, modern toilets, Ashley & Co. products, Wi-Fi, and a Nespresso machine. Adding to the experience, our property features access to over 80 horses, during their stay guests can watch training sessions at the show jumping arena or participate in riding lessons and trail rides. 

Tom and I personally built Hideout 1.0 from the ground up, tackling everything from painting to roofing and designing—with no outside help. Our commitment has involved countless hours spent on-site, managing tasks while our two kids played nearby, tending to gardens, and keeping the cabins pristine. Hideout Cabins is truly a family-run labour of love, with every member contributing to make it what it is today.
